Kolos Ferenc Cardinal Vaszary OSB (born February 12, 1832 in Keszthely , Austrian Empire , † September 3, 1915 in Balatonfüred , Austria-Hungary ) was a cardinal of the Roman Church and long-time Archbishop of Esztergom .

Life

Vaszary occurred in 1847 in the Benedictine - Abbey Martin Mountain , where he the religious name Ferenc received and on June 6, 1854 professed took off. Two years later he was ordained a priest and worked for many years as a teacher and director of the school of the Archabbey in Pannonhalma . After all, Father Ferenc Vaszary was Archabbot of Pannonhalma from 1885 to 1891 .
