Communication Strategy Commissioner

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The communication strategy commissioner was a European Union commissioner . The office existed from 1981 to 1989 under the name of Commissioner for Information and Information Strategy and again from 2004 to 2009. The commissioners also had other responsibilities. Since the Barroso II Commission , which came into office in early 2010, no member has been nominally responsible for communication. In fact, the area is assigned to Justice Commissioner Viviane Reding .
