Kompienga is a province in the Est region in the West African state of Burkina Faso with 102,645 inhabitants on 6,998 km².

It is located in the south-east and until 1996 it was part of the province of Gourma , is only sparsely populated, but rich in natural landscapes in the nature reserves in the east of the provincial capital Pama . To the west of Pama lies the Kompiengastausee , a local fishing center. There are also numerous hunting areas. In the south, the Pendjari separates the province from neighboring Benin .
