Sanmatenga is a province in the Center-North region of the West African state of Burkina Faso . It consists of eleven departments and municipalities. The capital is Kaya . Most of the Mossi people live in the province . A new reservoir is located in Ziga , which supplies the capital Ouagadougou with water.
