Konrad K. Kittner , married. Konrad Carls (* 30th March 1962 in Hannover , † 11. May 2006 ) was a German punk - musicians .

Life

Konrad Kittner was the son of the cabaret artist Dietrich Kittner and his wife Christel. Since the late 1970s, Kittner was active in the Hanoverian punk scene.

He was the bass player of the Hanoverian “Urpunkband” condensers as well as for B-Test und Klischee . With Mirco "Micro" Bogumil he founded the fun punk duo Falling Brieftauben in 1983 , where both musicians took turns singing, guitar and drums. In the 1990s he played bass in various bands like Crass Fish , Rasta Knast , the rebels and freebooters , and percussion with affluent society . He played guitar and was a singer in the formations Legal Kriminal and WKA (We can do it differently)

On his label Highdive Records , founded in 1994 , he released until 1998 a. a. Productions by Klischee , Dietrich Kittner , Die Dikkmannz and the sampler Chaostage - Greetings from Hanover .

From 2001 he was married as Konrad Carls. In 2002 he worked on a Cuba travel guide for his wife. He last performed with the crashing carrier pigeons in August 2002 at the UJZ Glocksee in Hanover, in spring 2006 the carrier pigeons met for a final studio production.

Kittner died of heart failure in May 2006 at the age of 44.
