Kottinghörmanns is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Schrems in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 112 building areas with 38,007 m² and 77 gardens on 25,057 m² in the cadastral community of Kottinghörmanns, in 1989/1990 there were 139 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of construction areas had increased to 532 and in 2009/2010 there were 253 buildings on 522 construction areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 340 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 433 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 301 hectares and 449 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 276 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 443 hectares. The average soil climate number of Kottinghörmanns is 22.9 (as of 2010).
