Kozieniec ( German  Kozienitz , 1938 to 1945 Sömmering ) is an uninhabited local office in the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship . It is located in the area of ​​the rural community Janowo in the powiat Nidzicki ( Neidenburg district ).

The local office of Kozieniec is located in the southwest center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship, 19 kilometers east of the district town of Nidzica ( German  Neidenburg ). In 1874 the village of Kozienitz, which actually only consisted of a middle courtyard, was incorporated into the district of Roggen (Polish: Róg ) in the East Prussian district of Neidenburg , but is no longer mentioned as an independent place in 1908 and should be - with only two in 1905 Residents - a residential area of the community Camerau (1938 to 1945 Großmuckenhausen , in Polish Komorowo ).
