Wilczki ( German Wilzken ) is a no longer officially named local office in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . It is located in the Gmina Janowo area in the powiat Nidzicki ( Neidenburg district ).
The Wilczki branch is located in the southwestern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , 13 kilometers east of the district town of Nidzica .
Wilzken was before 1945 the state forest green flow belonging forester . In 1883 the small town was incorporated into the Muschaken district ( Muszaki in Polish ) in the East Prussian district of Neidenburg . On November 4, 1893, Wilzken and the neighboring town of Wientzkowen merged to form the new rural community of Wientzkowen (1938 to 1945 Winsken , in Polish Więckowo ). After southern East Prussia was transferred to Poland in 1945, Wilzken was given the Polish form of name “Wilczki” and then - as before - “część wsi Więckowo” (= “part of the village of Więckowo”) within the rural community of Janowo in the powiat Nidzicki (district Neidneburg ).
Before 1945, Wilzken was parish through the parent community of Wientzkowen / Winsken in the Protestant church Muschaken or in the Roman Catholic church Neidenburg . Today Wilczki belongs to the Protestant parish Nidzica and the Roman Catholic parish Muszaki .
The Wilczki branch is located north of Więckowo on the other side of the Nidzica – Wielbark railway line and can be reached directly from there.
