Krasnice (German Krasnitz ) is a district of the municipality Litošice in Okres Pardubice in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers southwest of Přelouč .
geography
Krasnice is located on the right side of the Krasnický creek in the Chvaletická hornatina ( Chwaletice hill country ) belonging to the Iron Mountains ( Železné hory ). The Krasnický rybník ( Krasnitzer Pond ) is located at the southwest exit of the village . To the west of the village is the Morašice game reserve. In the south rises the Velká Ruda (327 m nm), to the west the U Bláta (289 m nm).
Neighboring towns are Spytovice in the north, Kozašice and Jankovice in the Northeast, Seník the east, Sovoluská Lhota and Litošice the southeast, Pazderna and Bílé Podolí to the south, Koukalka, Brambory , Ovčíny, Vinice, Hajný and Svobodná Ves in the southwest, Horušice and Myslivna in the West as well as Morašice and Zdechovice in the north-west.
history
The first written mention of Krasnice took place in 1318. In the 15th century, the Žehušický of Nestajov Krasnice acquired together with the Litošice manor and put it to their rule Žehušice . Emperor Ferdinand I withdrew the fief from Václav Žehušický because of his participation in the uprising of 1546 and sold the rule to Karl von Zierotin . In 1558 Charles von Zierotin sold the Žehušice estate to Zdeněk Meziříčský from Lounice. In 1661 Michael Oswald von Thun and Hohenstein acquired the Žehušice rule from the heirs of Burian Ladislaw von Waldstein . In 1671 he made the rule Žehušice a majorate and bequeathed it to his brother Maximilian.
In 1840 the village Krasnitz or Krasnice, surrounded by extensive forests, consisted of 21 houses in which 136 people lived. The Krasnitzer pond near the village was used by the rulers as a streak and stretch pond, while the Littocha pond to the south was used as a chamber pond. The forests, with the exception of those to the west of the village, which belonged to the Zdechowitz estate, were managed by the Littoschitz forest district. The parish was in Lipoltitz .
After the abolition of patrimonial Krásnice formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Litošice in the judicial district of Časlau . From 1868 the village belonged to the Časlau district . By order of the linguistic commission in Prague, the place name was changed to Krasnice in 1920 .
On December 21, 1944, six members of the subversive partisan group reached Záře on their multi-day march into the Elbe valley Krasnice, where they were supposed to sabotage the Pardubitz – Kolin railway , and made a stopover at Jindřich Hon's house. After Hon had reported the presence of the partisans to the gendarmerie, the Wehrmacht and Gestapo surrounded the house. After an unsuccessful call to surrender, the house was stormed and set on fire. Four partisans died in the fight and two were taken prisoner. On May 5, 1946, the partisan memorial was ceremoniously unveiled in front of the ruined house.
1949 Krasnice was assigned to the Okres Přelouč. This was lifted in the course of the territorial reform of 1960, since then the community has belonged to Okres Pardubice. Between 1986 and 1990 Krasnice was incorporated into Přelouč, and since November 24, 1990 the village has again been part of the municipality of Litošice. On March 3, 1991, the place had 22 residents; in the 2001 census, 24 people lived in the 34 houses in Krasnice.
