District Court of Kassel
The District Court of Kassel (contemporary spelling: District Court of Cassel ) was a Prussian district court in the then Prussian province of Hessen-Nassau with its seat in Kassel .
With the annexation of the Electorate of Hesse in 1867, the five district courts of Kassel, Fulda, Hanau, Marburg, Rinteln and Rotenburg with the superordinate appellate court of Kassel were set up in the now Prussian province .

When the German Courts Constitution Act came into force on October 1, 1879, these district courts were replaced by the three regional courts of Kassel, Marburg and Hanau, each with a public prosecutor's office. The district court of Kassel became the successor to the district court of Kassel.
