Krisztina Papp (born December 17, 1982 in Eger ) is a Hungarian long-distance runner .

Life

At the European Athletics Championships in Munich in 2002 , she came in 16 th place over 5000 m . Over the same distance, she was eliminated from the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

The following year she was sixth in the 3000 m at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid , and at the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg she was eighth in the 5000 m.

After another off in the run-up over 5000 m at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, she finished 14th at the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin over this distance.

At the European Championships in Barcelona in 2010 , she was eighth over 10,000 m .

Her successes in road running include victories at the Belgrade Marathon in 2003 on the half marathon route and in 2006 at the Austrian Women's Run over 5 kilometers. In 2007 she came in 20th at the World Road Running Championships in Udine .
