Kronprinsparrets Priser
Kronprinsparrets Priser (until 2008 Kronprinsparrets Kulturpris ) is a Danish culture prize that has been awarded since 2005 by the heir to the throne of the Danish royal family , Frederik of Denmark and Mary Donaldson . The prize was launched as a present for the wedding of the Crown Prince couple on May 14, 2004 by the Bikubenfonden Foundation . It honors pioneering social projects ( Kronprinsparrets Sociale Pris , 500,000 DKK ) and outstanding, young Danish artists ( Kronprinsparrets Kulturpris , also 500,000 DKK). In addition, since 2009, two other social projects or artists have been awarded each year with 50,000 DKK each (Stjernedryspriser) .
