Krzykosy ( German : Krzykosy , 1942-1945 Lautenwald ) is a village in Powiat Średzki (Greater Poland) in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , Poland . The place is also the seat of the rural community of the same name (Gmina wiejska) .
geography
Krzykosy lies in the glacial valley of the Warta (Warta) about 45 km southeast of Poznań .
history
The village was first mentioned as "Trzicozy" in 1393 and with a name similar to that of today in 1507.
From 1975 to 1998 the village was part of the Poznan Voivodeship .

The municipality has an area of 110.46 km². 63% of the municipality is used for agriculture, 28% is covered with forest, to the south it is bordered by the Warta.
