The art collection of HypoVereinsbank , which has grown continuously over many decades, comprises around 14,000 works of art. Over the past few years there has been an increasing sharpening of the profile on works from the current European art scene with a focus on contemporary art.

The art of the 20th and 21st centuries with its controversial statements is extensively documented in the HypoVereinsbank collection, in particular with the renowned representatives of German contemporary art such as u. a. Gerhard Richter , Sigmar Polke , Georg Baselitz and Günther Uecker . The important representatives of the younger generation in Germany also include Franz Ackermann , Karin Kneffel , Heribert C. Ottersbach , Neo Rauch , Thomas Ruff , Daniel Schnell and Cornelius Völker .

Art from all European countries, America and Asia - from artists like u. a. Christo , Chillida, Tony Cragg , Dan Graham , Gilbert & George , Zhuang Hui , Shirin Neshat , Julian Opie , Giulio Paolini - have also been part of the collection for the past ten years.
