history

The large stone graves near Krüssow , two grave complexes of the Neolithic beaker culture, came from prehistoric times . They were destroyed in the 19th century.

One of the Krüssow manor houses

Four manors used to belong to the parish: Krüssow A, Krüssow B, Krüssow C and Krüssow D. The first three goods were allodial goods , Gut Krüssow D was formerly an old fiefdom of the Wedel family . It is unknown whether the four manors originally belonged together and formed a single manor district. In older times there was a line of the Borcke family on Krüssow A , which had its headquarters in BrallentIin (which is not identical with the castle-based branch of the Borckes). In 1857, Krüssow A was bought by Karl Ferdinand Wendeler. Krüssow B used to be a fiefdom of the old Pomeranian family Kremzow , who lived there around 1608. In 1862 Krüssow B was called by a member of the Zastrow family v. Küssow bought up. Krüssow C was formerly an old fiefdom of the Schöning family , which is documented there in 1477. In 1881 Krüssow C came to the landowner Giese. Krüssow D became the property of Ramon Delgens, an economist from Mecklenburg, in 1853.

Around 1780 there were four outworks in Krüssow, a water mill with an oil mill , five farmers, a schoolmaster and a total of 27 households. Around 1868 Krüssow A had four residential buildings and 47 residents and Krüssow B had five residential buildings and 58 residents. In 1841 the Rittmeister von Pirch bought a farm in the neighboring village of Strebelow and combined the associated lands with his Gut Krüssow B. By 1868 Krüssow C had three residential buildings and 32 residents and Krüssow D had seven residential buildings and 83 residents.

In the village of Krüssow in 1868 there were, in addition to the four manors, three farms that belonged to Gut D, a parish farmer who had leased parish lands, a school where the sexton taught, a water mill combined with an oil mill on the Kleine Ihna and an auxiliary windmill, a smithy, an inn belonging to Krüssow B, four Büdnereien , two brickworks on the west side of the village, twelve residential buildings, 15 tax-free buildings and 126 residents.

Around 1930 the district of Krüssow had an area of 12.9 km², and there were a total of 69 residential buildings in the municipality. There were three places of residence in Krüssow:

Until 1945 Krüssow belonged to the district of Pyritz in the province of Pomerania .

Towards the end of the Second World War , Krüssow was occupied by the Soviet Army in early March 1945 . As a result of the war, Krüssow became part of Poland.
