Karl Ludwig Hermann Kurd Count of Berg-Schonfeld (* 25. February 1856 in Berlin , † 1. October 1923 in Schoenfeld ) was a German administrative official .

Life

Kurd von Berg-Schönfeld studied law at the universities of Heidelberg , Bonn and Berlin from 1877 to 1880 . In 1878 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Bonn . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1891 to 1899 he was District Administrator of the district Gifhorn . In 1899 he was disciplined as a sewer rebel . In 1900 he was transferred to the government in Hanover as a senior councilor . In 1905 he was appointed police president of the Kassel district. In the same year he moved to Hanover as police chief .

From 1909 to 1911, has mountain-Schonfeld District President of the administrative district of Stade . In 1911 he changed to the government of Hanover as district president , where he held the office until 1917. He was appointed chamberlain . Kurd von Berg-Schönfeld died in a car accident.

Berg-Schönfeld sat from 1894 to 1900 for the constituency of Lüneburg 1 (Isenhagen, Gifhorn) as a conservative member of the Prussian mansion .
