Jan-Henrik Horn

Jan-Henrik Horn (born December 29, 1944 in Hamburg ; † December 22, 2002 in Großenwörden ) was a German lawyer and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Life

After graduating from high school in 1965, Horn studied law at the University of Hamburg . From 1975 to 1979 he worked as a judge at the Stade Administrative Court and from 1979 to 1980 at the Hamburg Social Court . From 1990 to 1991 he was President of the Government of Hanover and from 1991 to 1994 State Secretary in the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Environment .

Horn was one of the founders of the Stader district association of the Greens and was state chairman of the Lower Saxony Greens from November 2001 to June 2002 . He was also involved in local politics . He was first a member of the municipal council of the municipality of Jork and later a member of the municipal council of the former municipality of Himmelpforten . For ten years he was a member of the district council of the Stade district .

Jan-Henrik Horn last lived in Großenwörden. He had been married since 1982 and had three children.
