Kyle Daniel Rudolph (* 9. November 1989 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is an American American football poker players on the position of tight ends . He plays for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL).

Rudolph attended the University of Notre Dame from 2008 to 2010 , where he played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish .
Overall, he came as a tight end in three years at college to 1,032 yards and 8 touchdowns with 90 balls caught.

Rudolph was selected in the NFL Draft 2011 in the 2nd round as the 43rd player overall by the Minnesota Vikings .
He had a solid rookie season and had 3 touchdowns .
After the 2012 season , Rudolph was elected to the Pro Bowl in a total of 9 touchdowns , participated in the 2013 Pro Bowl and was able to secure the MVP award in this game .
Rudolph extended on July 27, 2014 his contract with the Vikings by 5 years, with a salary of 36.5 million US dollars .
Between 2015 and 2018 he was a starter in all regular season games, and in 2017 he was elected to the Pro Bowl for the second time.
