The Laleia ( Rio de Laleia , Ribeira Laleia ) is an East Timorese river in the administrative office of Laleia ( Manatuto municipality ). It is created by the confluence of the Caleuc and Mori rivers on the border of the administrative offices of Laleia and Lacluta (municipality of Viqueque ). Like most rivers in north Timor, the Laleia falls dry outside of the rainy season .

In the north of Suco Laline (Lacluta) the rivers Lago Letatice , Buauomeca (both together form the Tutoli ) and Abai arise . All flow into the Mori , the border river to the Suco and administrative office Vemasse (municipality of Baucau ), which also follows part of the border to Suco Cairui (Laleia). The Mori rises in the border area of the sucos Ossouala (Vemasse) and Liaruca ( Ossu , municipality of Viqueque). From Liaruca flows into the Mori of Badometa and from Vemasse Subdistrict of Bina . Finally the Mori meets the Caleuc , the western border river between Cairui and Laline. It arises in the northern border area between the Suco Barique (administrative office Barique , Manatuto) and Laline and then forms the majority of the border between Laline and Cairui. The Laburaque and the Ladada , both of which arise in Cairui , flow into the Caleuc . Mori and Caleuc together form the Laleia, which flows further north through Cairui.

The Haeraun rises in the far north of Barique . On his way north he crosses the Suco Cribas (administrative office and municipality of Manatuto) and bears the name Sorec from his move to the Suco Aiteas (Manatuto) . Here the Lago Lulic ( German holy lake ) flows into the Sorec.

The Tuqueli , which is called Bucana further north, has its source in Cribas . Together with the Boi , which rises in the border area between Cribas and Cairui, it forms the border between Aiteas and Cairui between the two sucos as Bueana until it meets the Sorec. Together they form the border between Cairui and the Suco Haturalan as Baunoi , until the Baunoi swings to the east and flows into the Laleia at Raimea .

In the northeast the Laleia leaves Cairui and flows further into the Suco Haturalan, where shortly after the border the Lago Haui, coming from Cairui, flows into the Laleia. Near the border to Suco Lifau (Laleia administrative office), near Laleia , the Lago Heuc flows into the Laleia river. The river then flows further north through Lifau, then follows the border between Lifau and Vemasse and finally pours into the Strait of Wetar .
