To the north is the Suco Haturalan . In the west of Cairui is the administrative office of Manatuto with its Sucos Aiteas and Cribas , in the east the administrative office Vemasse, which belongs to the municipality of Baucau, with its sucos Uaigae and Vemasse, and in the south the administrative office of Laclubar, which belongs to the municipality ( Viqueque ), with its Suco Laline . The rivers Laburaque and Ladada originate in the southwest of Cairui , both of which flow into the Caleuc , which forms the border river to Laline until it meets the Mori in the east . Together they form the Laleia River, which flows north into the Suco Cairui . The Boi , which then follows the border with Cribas, has its source in the southwest of Cairui . After the tributary of the Bucana from Cribas the river is called Bueana and soon after forms the border with Aiteas. After the confluence of the Sorec , the river is called Baunoi and follows a part of the border between Cairui and Haturalan until it flows into Cairui and meets the Laleia at the settlement center of Rai-Mea ( Raimea ). The Laleia then flows to the northeast and leaves the Cairui to Haturalan, where the Lago Haui , which rises in the east of Cairui, flows into the Laleia.

Rai-Mea is on the north bank of the Laleia. The settlement center also includes the places Corohoco ( Coroco , Hoco Hoco ), Uatu-Sili ( Watu-Sili , Hatusili ), Uai-Nunu ( Wai-Nunu , Wainuno ), Bia-Ba'e ( Biaboe , Riaboe ) and Rai-Bu ( Raibua ). The village of Samalai is located on the west bank of the Laleia on the border with Haturalan . There are primary schools in Samalai and in Rai-Mea ( Escola Primaria Cairui ). There is also a medical station in Rai-Mea. Some solar panels in the Suco provide electricity.
