Lance bass
James Lance Bass (born May 4, 1979 in Laurel , Mississippi ) is an American singer , actor and film producer . Lance Bass became internationally known as the bass singer of the boy band 'N Sync .
childhood
Lance Bass was born in Laurel, Mississippi, to Jim Bass , a laboratory technician, and Diana Bass, an elementary school teacher. Lance Bass has an older sister named Stacy Bass .
At the age of ten, Bass moved to Clinton , Mississippi. There he became a member of the church choir of a parish belonging to the Southern Baptist Convention and also sang in the school choir. Lance Bass attended Clinton High School . He became a member of the Mississippi Show Stoppers organization , a nationwide US group. Lance Bass joined the group Attache , who toured the United States as a choir formation.
As a student, Lance Bass excelled with his achievements in math and science. He was fascinated by space and wanted to be an astronaut at NASA.
'N Sync
In 1995, 'N Sync started from the ex- Mickey Mouse Club presenters JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake together with Chris Kirkpatrick , Joey Fatone and Jason Galasso as "Bass" (lower pitch); Lance Bass replaced Galasso a little later. In 1996 the group went on tour in Germany and two years later in the United States. In 2002 the band decided to split up, despite their ongoing success.
Film producer and actor
In 2001 Lance Bass produced the comedy film On the Line , in which he also played one of the leading roles. Bass met several times as a prominent commentator in I Love the '80s and played himself in cameo appearances in the films Cursed ( Cursed ) by Wes Craven and Zoolander . He and Joey Fatone gave their voices to characters in the animated films Kim Possible and Robot Chicken .
In the 2007 film Chuck and Larry , Lance Bass made a brief appearance as the singer of the band performing at the wedding of a same-sex couple. In 2008, Bass played himself again in Tropic Thunder , when a love affair with the homosexual gangster rapper "Alpa Chino" was revealed at the Academy Awards ceremony at the end of the film .
Private
During his time as a member of boy band 'N Sync, Lance Bass was in a relationship with actress Danielle Fishel . Of the band members of 'N Sync, he was the first to tell Joey Fatone that he was gay , because he had a very good friendly relationship with him. On July 26, 2006 , Bass came out in People magazine and said:
“The thing is, I'm not ashamed - that's the one thing I want to say. I don't think it's wrong, I'm not devastated going through this. I'm more liberated and happy than I've been my whole life. I'm just happy. "

After his coming out , Bass had a relationship with actor Reichen Lehmkuhl that ended in January 2007. In early September 2013, he announced that he was engaged to his friend Michael Turchin . The two have been in a relationship since December 2011. They were married on December 20, 2014 in Los Angeles .
He also gained media fame in the United States in 2002 when he tried to take part as a tourist in the Russian Soyuz TMA-1 space mission . However, he did not succeed in raising the necessary financial resources through the media. Lance Bass is a radio amateur with the callsign KG4UYY.
In 2007, Bass published his autobiography, Out of Sync .

Lance Bass made it into the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame as the youngest musician to date .
