State Labor Court of Saxony-Anhalt
The State Labor Court of Saxony-Anhalt is a court of labor jurisdiction and the State Labor Court (LAG) of the State of Saxony-Anhalt .
Seat and District of the Court
The seat of the court is Halle (Saale) . The judicial district covers the area of the entire state with more than 2.4 million inhabitants.
Courthouse
The court has been housed in the Justice Center in Halle Thüringer Strasse 16 since 1998 . The Halle Justice Center has 25 trial rooms and a total of around 34,000 m² of office space. In addition to the LAG, it houses the public prosecutor's office, the administrative court, the Halle labor court, the social court, the Saxony-Anhalt regional social court and the Halle-Saalkreis district court.
Superordinate and subordinate courts
The Federal Labor Court is superordinate to the State Labor Court of Saxony-Anhalt . The labor courts of Dessau-Roßlau , Halle , Magdeburg and Stendal are subordinate . The Halle Labor Court has been responsible for the former district of the Naumburg Labor Court, which has been repealed, since January 1, 2009. The district of the repealed labor court Halberstadt was assigned to the labor court Magdeburg.

Werner Zink was president of the regional labor court until 2012 ; The position was vacant between 2012 and the beginning of 2017. Kathrin Thies has been President of the court since the beginning of 2017 .
