State government Grauss I

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The provincial government Grauss I formed the Tyrolean provincial government after the death of Governor Alfons Weißgatterer in the second legislative period . The term of office of the state government Grauss began with the election of Alois Grauss (ÖVP) on February 27, 1951 as governor and ended with the election of the subsequent state government Grauss II on November 24, 1953.

After Weissgatterer's death on January 31, 1953, Grauss was re-elected to the government on February 27. The rest of the composition of the provincial government remained unchanged, with the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) providing five out of seven government members, including the governor, a deputy governor and three provincial councilors. The Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) was also represented in the government by a deputy governor due to the proportional representation system, and the electoral party of the Independent (WdU) with a regional councilor.
