State government van Staa II

The state government van Staa II formed the Tyrolean provincial government from 2003 to 2008 and followed the state government van Staa I after. The members of the state government were sworn in on October 21, 2003. After the state elections in Tyrol in 2008 , the state government van Staa II was replaced by the state government Platter I on July 1, 2008. Governor Herwig van Staa was throughout the legislative period .

In December 2006 there was a major government reshuffle. After the resignation of the financial state councilor Ferdinand Eberle and social state councilor Christa Gangl , agricultural state councilor Konrad Streiter and education state councilor Sebastian Mitterer also resigned. As a result of the government reshuffle, there was also a partial redistribution of the business areas. Hannes Gschwendtner ceded his departments to Hans Lindenberger and in return took over the social department from Christa Gangl and the sports department from State Councilor Elisabeth Zanon . From the outgoing Deputy Governor, Governor van Staa took over the finance department, while the important business area of ​​agriculture and forestry was assigned to the new Provincial Councilor Anton Steixner . The new regional councilor Johannes Bodner took over the business areas of economy and water law . The new Provincial Councilor Erwin Koler largely took over the agendas of the resigned Provincial Councilor Sebastian Mitterer and was also given the responsibility for culture, which was previously overseen by van Staa. Provincial Councilor Konrad Streiter's fields of business were divided between different members of the government.
