State election in Lower Austria 1993
The state election in Lower Austria in 1993 took place on May 16. A total of eight parties tried to win 56 seats in the Lower Austrian state parliament . The ÖVP , SPÖ , FPÖ , the Liberal Forum , the Greens as GABL - Green Alternative and Citizens' Lists (Greens in Parliament) and the KPÖ competed in all 21 constituencies.
The Liberal Forum and the ÖABP (Austrian Motorists and Citizens' Interest Party) were new candidates .
The LPW ( List Pepi Wagner ), the Herz list and the WIR list were no longer candidates .
The ranking on the ballot paper was inconsistent.
