The state elections in Lower Austria in 1969 took place on October 19, together with the state elections in Vorarlberg . As the winner of the election, the SPÖ was able to win a mandate from the ÖVP. Nevertheless, the ÖVP achieved an absolute majority in the state parliament with 30 of the 56 seats.
