The state election in Lower Austria in 1919 was held on May 4, 1919 and was the first state election in Lower Austria after the end of World War I, with Vienna still being part of Lower Austria at that time. In the election, the Social Democratic Workers' Party of German Austria (SDAPDÖ) achieved 46.7% and achieved an absolute majority with 62 of 120 seats. Second place went to the Christian Social Party (CSP), which received 47 seats with a 36.8% share of the vote. In addition, the German National Party moved into the state parliament with 7.5%. The party of the social democratic and democratic Czechoslovaks (PSDČ) also reached the state parliament with a share of the vote of 4.6% and three seats and the national democrats with 1.3% and one seat. The other parties failed to enter the state parliament.

The Lower Austrian state parliament for the last joint period was constituted on May 20, 1919 and on the same day elected the state government of Sever as the new state government of Lower Austria.
