The Agricultural University of Athens ( Greek : Γεωπονικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών ; formerly the Agricultural University of Athens ) is an agricultural university in Athens and the third oldest university in Greece .

In 1888 an agricultural school was founded. From 1920 this became an important coordination point of the Greek Chamber of Agriculture for geological considerations on agricultural policy and agroecology . From this this university arose.
