The University of the Aegean ( Greek Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου Panepistimio Egeou ) is a state Greek university on the Aegean Islands with around 10,000 students. The seat is in Mytilene on the island of Lesbos .

It was founded in 1984. It is divided into five faculties ( scholes σχολές), which are all located on different islands. The locations of the faculties are as follows:
