Larissa Rebecca Keat (* 1989 in Lenzburg , Switzerland ) is a Swiss-American actress , director and performer.

Life

Larissa Keat was born in Lenzburg, the elder of two daughters of her US father and her Swiss mother. She grew up mostly in Siglistorf , a small village near the German border. She has lived in Hamburg since 2013 , where she moved to study acting.

After graduating from the canton school in Baden in 2009 , she took the preliminary artistic course at the Zurich University of the Arts , where she began her studies in scenography. After a year, however, she changed her studies and completed her acting training at the Drama Studio Frese in Hamburg from 2013 to 2016.

She made her first acting experience in the "Atelier Kunterbunt" at the age of eleven. After that she was a member of the ensemble at the Junge Theater Baden for eight years. Since her training she has worked as a freelance actress and performer and has worked at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg (director: Schorsch Cameroon ), Kampnagel Hamburg (choreography: Patricia Carolin Mai ) and also often in Switzerland at the Junge Schauspielhaus Zurich or at DAS Theater an der Effingerstrasse to see.

Another part of her work is her work in the independent scene, for which she has written various pieces of her own and brought them to the stage ( #Die Kapsel , NowHere Land) .

With the performance Rally Against Radicalization in Marrakech and Marseille , she worked outside the German-speaking area for the first time.
