In January 2009 Ross won a race in the Nor-Am Cup for the first time, which was enough for 4th place in the giant slalom classification. In the 2009/10 season she won nine races, with which she won the overall standings as well as the downhill and Super-G rankings. In the World Cup , Ross made her debut on December 4, 2009, where she drove in the downhill from Lake Louise to 46th place.
