Lebien is a district of the city of Annaburg in the district of Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany).

Lebien is about 8 km south of Jessen (Elster) .

The local corridor bordered the Annaburger Heide and the villages of Zwiesigko , Schöneicho , Kähnitzsch , Hohndorf and Plossig .

Lebien Mill

history

Lebien was initially an ecclesiastical branch of Axien and received its own church in 1234. In 1550 15 possessed men lived here, including twelve Hüfner who were directly subordinate to the Lochau office. There were three free farms in the village, which in 1550 belonged to Hans von Wesenagk, Nicol von Hondorf and Michael at the end.

Until 1815 the place belonged to the office of Annaburg .

On January 1, 2011 Lebien was incorporated into Annaburg.
