Lee Chang-hwan ( kor. 이창환 ; born February 16, 1982 in Ansan ) is a former South Korean archer and Olympic champion .
Career
Lee started archery at the age of 11. He made his international debut in 2001.
He immediately won his first major title in 2001 with the team at the World Cup in Beijing . In 2007 he became world champion both individually and with the team, and he achieved another title success in 2009, again with the team. In between he was part of the South Korean delegation at the Asian Games in Doha , where he also won gold with the team.
At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , he was eliminated from the singles in the round of 16. With the team, which included Im Dong-hyun and Park Kyung-mo in addition to Lee , he became Olympic champion.
