Jang Yong-ho ( kor. 장용호 ; born April 4, 1976 in Goheung ) is a former South Korean archer and Olympic champion .

Career

At the 1997 World Championships in Victoria , Canada , he won the bronze medal in singles and was world champion with the team. Two years later in Riom he won the silver medal with the team.

Jang Yong-ho participated in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , 2000 in Sydney and 2004 in Athens . In all three participations he was eliminated in the individual competition in the round of 16. Together with Kim Bo-ram and Oh Kyo-moon , he won the silver medal in the team competition in 1996. Four years later he became Olympic champion with Kim Chung-tae and Oh Kyo-moon. He repeated this success in 2004 with Im Dong-hyun and Park Kyung-mo .

With the team he won the gold medal at the Asian Games in Doha in 2006 .
