Goheung County ( kor .: 고흥군 , Goheung-gun ) is located in Jeollanam-do Province in South Korea . The administrative headquarters are in the city of Goheung-eup. The district had an area of 776 km² and a population of 65,972 inhabitants in 2019.
The Naro Space Center , which is operated by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute , is located in Goheung .
