Yeonggwang County ( kor . : 영광군 , Yeonggwang-gun ) is located in Jeollanam-do Province in South Korea . The administrative headquarters are in Yeonggwang-eup City. The district had an area of 475 km² and a population of 54,773 inhabitants in 2019.
The Hanbit nuclear power plant is located in Yeonggwang and was commissioned in 1986. Today it has six reactors.
