Yeongam County ( kor .: 영암군 , Yeongam-gun ) is located in Jeollanam-do Province in South Korea . The administrative headquarters are in the city of Yeongam-eup. The district had an area of 603 km² and a population of 59,109 inhabitants in 2019.
The Korean Grand Prix was held on the port side of the Korean International Circuit in Yeongam from 2010 to 2013 . The track was designed by the well-known race track designer Hermann Tilke .
