Wando County ( kor .: 완도군 , Wando-gun ) is located in Jeollanam-do Province in South Korea . It takes its name from the island of Wando, the largest island in the district, which serves as the district capital. The district had an area of 518.65 km² and a population of 52,858 inhabitants in 2019.
