Haenam County ( kor .: 해남군 , Haenam-gun ) is located in Jeollanam-do Province in South Korea . The administrative headquarters are in the city of Haenam-eup. The district had an area of 1,006 km² and a population of 71,806 inhabitants in 2019.
The county's economy is largely based on agriculture, with rice and radishes being the two most common crops.
