Mauro Nespoli (born November 22, 1987 in Voghera ) is an Italian archer and Olympic champion .
Career
Mauro Nespoli took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , 2012 in London and 2016 in Rio de Janeiro . Together with Ilario Di Buò and Marco Galiazzo , he won the silver medal in the team competition in 2008. Four years later he became Olympic champion with Michele Frangilli and Marco Galiazzo. His best result in the individual was the 6th place in Rio de Janeiro. In the quarterfinals he was eliminated by Jean-Charles Valladont .
At world championships he also won several medals with the team: 2011 bronze in Turin and 2015 silver in Copenhagen . He also won the gold medal in mixed with Natalia Valeeva at the 2015 European Games in Baku .
