Rodney E. "Rod" White (born March 1, 1977 in Sharon , Pennsylvania ) is a retired American archer and Olympic champion.
Career
At the 1995 World Championships in Jakarta , Rod White won the bronze medal in the team competition together with Jay Barrs , Richard McKinney and Lonny King . A year later, White took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and won the gold medal in the team competition with Justin Huish and Butch Johnson . In the individual competition he finished 24th. Four years later he won the bronze medal behind South Korea and Italy at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney in the team competition together with Butch Johnson and Vic Wunderle . In the individual competition, he was again beyond the top 20 with place 26.
Rod White now lives in Mount Pleasant , Iowa . His hobby is hunting .
