    The Legislative Assembly of Acre , officially Portuguese Assembleia Legislativa do Estado do Acre (ALEAC) is the supreme legislative body of the Brazilian state of Acre .

    The seat is in the parliament building Palácio Senador José Guiomard dos Santos in Rio Branco . The unicameral parliament consists of 24 representatives elected by proportional representation, the deputados estaduais , who are elected for four years, most recently in the parliamentary elections as part of the elections in Brazil in 2018 . Parliament's work is supported by twelve standing commissions.

    After the parliamentary elections in Acre in 1962 , in which 15 members were elected, the first legislative period from 1963 ran from 1967, currently after the parliamentary election in Acre in 2018, the 15th legislative period for the period 2019 to 2023, for which Nicolau Júnior as President of the Presidium ( mesa diretora ) was elected.
