The Legislative Assembly of Alagoas , officially Portuguese Assembleia Legislativa do Estado de Alagoas (ALEAL), is the supreme legislative body of the Brazilian state of Alagoas .
The headquarters are at Praça Dom Pedro II in Maceió . The unicameral parliament consists of 27 representatives elected by proportional representation, the deputados estaduais , who are elected for four years, most recently in the parliamentary elections as part of the elections in Brazil in 2018 . Parliament's work is supported by 14 standing commissions.
