history

The place was first mentioned in the Codex Eberhardi between 1100 and 1160 as a guide . A church was built in the middle of the 13th century. Around 1450 the village came from the abbots of Fulda into the possession of the Landgraves of Hesse . Here it belonged to the Bingenheim office .

On February 1, 1972, Leidhecken was incorporated into the municipality of Florstadt.
