Léopold Griffuel Prize

The Léopold Griffuel Prize (Prix Fondation ARC Léopold Griffuel) is awarded by the Association pour la Recherche sur le Cancer (ARC) for important achievements in the field of cancer research.

The prize was founded on the basis of the will of Léopold Griffuel's widow and has been awarded since 1970. It is awarded annually by the ARC Board of Directors on the basis of a recommendation by a scientific advisory board and is endowed with € 150,000 (as of 2017). Individuals under the age of 65 or research groups of up to six people can apply.

The Léopold Griffuel Prize is one of the most prestigious and highly endowed research prizes in France .
