description

The Leutersdorfer water arises on the edge of the wavy watershed plateau of Neugersdorf - Walddorf . Its spring waters collect in the Black Pond north of Neuwalde . The watercourse, known as groundwater or Bittersbach in its upper course , initially flows in a northeastern direction through the ground between Hetzwalde and Neugersdorf. At the Beerberg the stream changes its direction and flows past Cameroon and the chamotte in a wide ground around the Hetzwalder Berg (formerly Löfflerscher Berg) to Neueibau .

With the south Leutersdorfer water flows through the Leutersdorfer spatial layers Oberleutersdorf , Mittelleutersdorf and Niederl Grosseutersdorf , and thereafter from the railway Mittelherwigsdorf-Varnsdorf-Eibau crossed. At the northern foot of the Großer Stein , the stream at Josephsdorf and Follow takes a south-westerly direction and flows south of Neuleutersdorf through the deserted pond of the soap pond .

Below the dam of the broken pond, the brook on Mönchsberg reaches the district of Seifhennersdorf . With a south-westerly direction it flows through the locality of Seifen. Below the confluence of the Gründel , it reaches the location of Scheibe, where the stream turns south again. The stream flows into the Mandau in Seifhennersdorf above the Zollstrasse bridge .

The upper course of the Leutersdorfer water is natural. In Leutersdorf and Seifhennersdorf, the brook has been expanded and set in high natural stone walls; it is crossed by numerous bridges and footbridges.
