Lille Heddinge Kirke

Lille Heddinge Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Stevns Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Stevns Municipality in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into the "new" Stevns Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

1112 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020), mostly residents of the port town of Rødvig , which also extends to the area of Havnelev Sogn . In the parish is the church "Lille Heddinge Kirke". The parish village of Lille Heddinge itself has fewer than 200 inhabitants.

Neighboring communities are Havnelev Sogn in the west, Frøslev Sogn in the north-west, Store Heddinge Sogn in the north and Højerup Sogn in the north-east .
