Himlingøje Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Bjæverskov Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Vallø Municipality in Roskilde Amt , which was merged into Stevns Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

307 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Himlingøje Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Valløby Sogn in the north, Tårnby Sogn in the east, Hårlev Sogn in the south - east and Vråby Sogn in the south-west , and Herfølge Sogn in the north-west neighboring Køge municipality .
