Lyderslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Stevns Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Stevns Municipality in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into the "new" Stevns Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

699 inhabitants live in the parish, 334 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Lyderslev Kirke" and the Vemmetofte estate .

Neighboring municipalities are Hellested Sogn in the north and Frøslev Sogn and Havnelev Sogn in the east , and Smerup Sogn commune in the neighboring Faxe municipality to the west .
