The gmina wiejska Limanowa [ lʲima'nɔva ] is an independent rural community in the powiat Limanowa in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is in the city of Limanowa . It has an area of 152.4 km², on which 25,550 people live (June 30, 2019).

From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
